Paul

Head Coach - Paul Moizer

Paul has benn the boys and girls head soccer coach at Riverton for over 10 years. He also had a previous coaching stint with Hillcrest High School. Pual is also an english teacher at Riverton. Both the Riverton boys and girls programs have won multiple Region championships and a number of state playoff appearances under Paul's direction. He has always displayed a tremendous dedication to the game and has an extreme passion for soccer. Paul's coaching education includes the UHSAA ASEP certificate. He also played collegiately at Westminster College and can still strike a wicked ball.

Ryan

Assistant Coach (Boys and Girls) - Ryan Sylvies

Ryan began his coaching career at Riverton High School in 2010. His past coaching experience consists of currently being a Utah Soccer Alliance (USA) boys coach, 4 years as the Olympus High School head boys and girls coach, 5 years as a head and assistant boys and girls coach with the Utah Olympic Development Program (O.D.P), 5 years as a head coach with Sparta United Premier and Select teams, along with positions with Firebirds and other Utah soccer clubs. Ryan also has over 20 years of experience as a Utah State Soccer Referee and over 30 years of combined playing experience with Sparta United, Hillcrest High School, Utah State University, and the Utah Soccer Assocations Mens Soccer Clubs. Ryan's coaching education includes the UHSAA ASEP, U.S. Soccer Advanced National "C" and Royal Netherlands coaching certificates. He feels his biggest accomplishment as a player was winning the 1984 Western Regional Championship as a member of the Sandy Sting.

Alan King

Assistant Coach (Boys and Girls) - Alan Roger King

Coach King moved to Riverton in March, 2009 from Southern California. He has been a high school and college head soccer coach for the past 35 years, 31 of which has been coaching mens, and 4 years coaching girls. He has had the great fortune of coaching many fine intelligent and hard working players. He has accumulated 615 wins, 245 losses, and 87 ties in his career. He has been Southern California Coach of the Year 5 times. State Coach of the Year once. His boy's teams have been ranked #1, #3 and #5 nationally. His 1996 team set a defensive record of 23 shutouts in one season. He and his wife Sandra recently celebrated their 40th anniversary. They have 7 children and 16 grand children.

Andrew

Assistant Coach (Boys and Girls) - Andrew Terry

Andrew joined Riverton Soccer in the Spring of 2011 with the boys' season. Andrew graduated from West Jordan High School in 2003, and graduated from the University of Utah in 2009 with a teaching degree. During college, Andrew spent multiple years coaching soccer at the youth levels, primarily in low-income and inner city areas in Salt Lake City. Andrew was hired as a full-time history teacher at Riverton High during the 09-10 school year. Along with coaching soccer for the Silverwolves, Andrew also serves as the Head JV Boys Basketball Coach at Riverton. Andrew loves being apart of Riverton High School. He loves the students, the coaches, the teachers, and the community. When not coaching and teaching, Andrew plays as much as possible for the Utah Soccer Association Mens' League and indoor soccer leagues.
